Prevention of group hatred in the CEE region – the RAN study visit of EFS partners to Bulgaria

The European Fair Skills project was invited to present its work on a study visit of the European Commission’s Radicalisation Awareness Network to Sofia, Bulgaria, on 16-17 January 2017. EFS stressed the focus on “How to prevent resentful populism, group hatred, and violent right-wing extremism among young people in Central and Eastern Europe.” Together with Cultures Interactive, representatives from the EFS partner organisations were part of the RAN Study Visit and met with colleagues from other Central and Eastern European countries, such as Poland and Romania, in view of developing future initiatives of prevention and resilience building in the region. The event was hosted by the Deputy Minister of the Interior, the State Agency for National Security and the NGO Centre for the Study of Democracy (http://www.csd.bg/).
