Chronology of Events
The EFS team meets with the Prefect of the Interministerial Committee on Prevention from Paris and his team as well as the French embassy team in view of a possible EFS France and to exchange about good practices in preventing group hatred and violent extremism.

Harald Weilnböck gave a talk on “Cultures Interactive’s WomEx and European Fair Skills approach” at this conference organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe.
Harald Weilnböck gave a presentation of the European Fair Skills project. The seminar on “Challenges of Prevention of Radicalisation” discussed the counter-radicalisation strategy in Bulgaria, and more widely in Eastern Europe. The event was hosted by the Bulgarian Deputy Minister of the Interior, the State Agency for National Security and the Center for the Study of Democracy.
Oliver Kossack moderated a workshop themed “(De-)radicalisation of Youth: Call to action. How can we prevent radicalisation of youth?” in which the two EFS trainers Rado Sloboda and Rebeka Dora Kajos also participated. The international conference was organised by Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia (PDCS) as part of the project “European Network for Non-violence and Dialogue” in which CI is also a partner (see here).

Together with international academics, EFS team member Oliver Kossack discusses the impact of radical right actors on politics and society in Central and Eastern Europe. The workshop was organised by Prof. Michael Minkenberg, European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).
